Like a pilot who logs all their flight time, a ham operator logs their QSO's for awards and for record keeping of who we communicate with. I used Ham Radio Deluxe's Logbook program as shown below to log all of my contacts. Periodically, I upload these contacts to my SQL database so you can look up my contacts or viewed how I have performed in areas such as Worked All States, Worked All Zones, DXCC, Grid Squares, and much more.
